Since you're here it is perhaps safe to assume that you aspire for a career in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Equity Research or Private Equity. Lets call it Option 1

But more importantly, in the pursuit of Option 1 are you willing to do whatever it takes to break in and then move up and rise through the ranks? Is that you?

  • Relentless, determined and unwilling to compromise on your aspirations and settle for Options 2, 3, 4 and 5?

Then perhaps you could be a good fit for SIB's flagship Investment Banking Course

Breaking in is hard, its super competitive, the odds are stacked against you.

At SIB, having trained and delivered "outcomes" in the form of "job placements" which have not been possible through academic degrees or professional qualifications, we know that first hand. But breaking in is possible and achievable, if you go about it the right way.

OUTCOMES: Delivering "outcomes" in the form of job placements is something very core, central and sacred to what SIB is all about. For you, this is a unique value proposition so profit from it

EXPERIENCE & TRACK RECORD: Alumni from our flagship Full Time Programs are pursuing their career ambitions as Investment Banking Analysts with major recruiters across New York, London, Johannesburg, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Delhi & Sydney.

No other training provider can deliver what we can. So choose and invest wisely!

Candidates are typically placed as entry level analysts in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Equity Research. These are highly analytical jobs and day to day tasks revolve around basic research, fundamental analysis, company valuation, financial modeling and number crunching, report writing, preparation of pitch books etc. A career in these job profiles is both intellectually stimulating and financially rewarding.

SIB has placed candidates with a base salary range from 3 to 15 lacs a year. Candidates have the opportunity to earn a performance related bonus which can be quite substantial for star performers.

  • Salary offered depends on candidate background and experience
  • It’s a function of what you are offering to a recruiter
  • The package you get has nothing to do with SIB and we do not believe in the concept of average salary

Generating even 1 interview requires a great deal of fight and effort from our side

  • Each interview is like gold

As mentioned before, our role at SIB is to create opportunity, but there is no magic here

  • Candidates should be crystal clear that converting an interview into a job offer depends on their own merit
  • We DO NOT guarantee placements

Subject to performance on assessments, candidates can expect a maximum of 4 interviews from us

  • That is a lot of interviews and quite frankly if you are unable to convert, there is nothing more we can do for you
  • Your own merit is key

When you get an offer, our job at SIB is done.

  • You will be expected to pull out from the placement process
  • We encourage you to not to try and engage in fishing and if you do so it will be at your own risk :)

At SIB, it is not possible for us to cater to individual whims and fancies

  • Every candidate who comes to SIB is doing because they want to change their career profile and enter core finance
  • We don’t send candidates for random or generic job interviews as mentioned earlier

So for someone looking to make a start and enter this industry, there is no room to pick and choose

  • All job interviews that we send you for utilise the skills that we have provided on the training program and involve valuation, financial modelling, research etc

So if you are looking for a new start that can make your career go places, you’re certainly in the right place

  • But if you are someone who wants to work for company XYZ only, then perhaps you should apply to them directly and we wish you all the best!

SIB candidates are placed in major financial hubs such as Mumbai, Delhi and other Metros. We encourage candidates to be geographically flexible to the best extent possible.

Candidates who secure 60% on assessments and complete the program successfully will be awarded a SIB completion certificate. Having said that, we encourage candidates to rise above the mind set of “collecting” certificates. What matters is that top recruiters from Investment Banking, Private Equity & Equity Research hire from SIB regularly. That in itself is the best certification there could be!
