What is average salary offered to SIB candidates?

SIB has placed candidates with a base salary range from 3 to 11 lacs a year. Candidates have the opportunity to earn a performance related bonus which can be quite substantial for star performers. Salary offered depends on background and SIB does not believe in the concept of average salary.

What is profile offered to SIB candidates?

Candidates are typically placed as an analyst in either the Investment Banking Division (IBD) or Equity Research (ER). These are highly analytical jobs and day to day tasks revolve around basic research, fundamental analysis, company valuation, financial modeling and number crunching, report writing, preparation of pitch books etc. A career in IBD or ER is both intellectually stimulating and financially rewarding.

In which cities are candidates placed?

SIB candidates are placed in major financial hubs such as Mumbai, Delhi and other Metros. We encourage candidates to be geographically flexible.
